GRP piping for the cooling water, utility and firewater systems of refineries and petrochemical plants. Not only new build. Replacing corroded steel in a plant that is already running is the harder job, and it is the one we are set up for.
Delivered: Cooling water line replacement at an onshore refinery and petrochemical complex in Vietnam. GRP pipe and fittings supplied through the plant maintenance contractor, manufactured from field measurements and installed within a fixed shutdown window.
Capability: Offshore systems and other GRP piping scopes, designed and fabricated to ISO 14692.
How we supply: We work as a sub-supplier through EPC contractors, plant maintenance companies and equipment vendors. We do not approach end users directly, and we present references by industry, country and technical specification rather than by client name.
We keep these three separate on purpose. Send us a specification and we will tell you in writing which of them your scope falls under.
Not the process lines. The utility systems that keep the plant running. Lines with no hydrocarbon but constant water flow are exactly where carbon steel fails first.
Cooling water and firewater scope. Hydrocarbon process piping stays in steel.

Circulating cooling water, make-up water and service water. Large bore, low pressure, long runs. This is where GRP has the widest margin over steel.

Wash water, drainage and effluent transfer. Mostly buried, which is where corrosion and cathodic protection cost the most over a plant life.

Firewater ring mains and buried headers. These lines sit permanently flooded, which makes internal corrosion the weak point of a steel system.
Changing a cooling water line in a running refinery is not a matter of building to drawing. The as-built rarely matches the drawing, the outage window is fixed, and whatever steel stays in place has to bolt up to what you deliver.
Record drawings and actual dimensions usually differ. We re-establish flange positions and angles from site measurement and fabricate to those.
Bolt hole pitch and count have to match the steel sections that remain. We fabricate to ANSI, JIS and KS flange standards.
Light enough to move and assemble without heavy lifting equipment, which is often what makes a fixed outage window achievable.
Our plant is local, so the measure, fabricate and deliver cycle is short. No import lead time and no customs clearance in the critical path.
For offshore GRP piping, ISO 14692 governs design, qualification and installation. The systems below are within our technical capability.
Seawater firewater ring mains and deluge. Permanently flooded service, where internal corrosion progresses fastest in a steel system.
Seawater lift risers and cooling water headers. Riser weight reduction translates directly into reduced structural load.
Produced water, open drain and closed drain systems, in mixed brine and hydrocarbon service.
Service water, wash water, ballast and drainage networks.
A refinery cooling water line and a power plant circulating water line carry the same fluid at the same diameters under the same design conditions. The industry label changes. What we build does not.
Seawater cooling water line, GRP pipe fabrication and site installation. Large bore seawater piping delivered and installed.
Cooling water line replacement in a running plant, supplied through the maintenance contractor and built from field measurement.
Hydrochloric acid scrubbers, storage tanks and separators. Fabricated and inspected under Japanese and Korean client requirements.

Start with the shutdown dates. We will work backwards through measurement, fabrication and delivery and tell you whether it is achievable before anything else. If the drawings are old and no longer match the plant, we start from site measurement.
We also work directly with plant maintenance contractors. Delivering to a fixed outage window is the job we do most often.
